Santander Consumer Finance focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

Position Overview:

As a UX Design Intern at Santander Bank, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced design team to create innovative digital solutions that enhance the overall user experience for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain valuable insights into the financial industry while honing your skills in UX design.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for Santander Bank's digital platforms, including websites, and online banking portals.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with user needs and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Iterate on design solutions based on feedback from stakeholders, users, and usability testing.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and user-centric approach throughout the design and development process.
  • Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively through presentations, documentation, and other mediums.
  • Assist in maintaining design assets, documentation, and global design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in UX design, interaction design, graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design with Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual design.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with UX/UI design projects or internships is a plus, but not required.
