Why do I need to upload a bank statement?

A full month's bank statement shows us that the income you have, indicated in your application, is actually deposited. It also shows the amount of your housing costs (rent or mortgage) and whether you pay alimony, for example, and how much.

In short: it indicates your income and expenses. That is why you may not cross out or strike out anything on your bank statement and everything must be readable. This also applies to your bank account number and the name of the account holder, ie your name. This must exactly match the name you entered in the application, which is stated on the proof of identity and on the pay slip.

Do you have a joint bank account? Then you also fill in all the details of your partner on the application. Please note that you always upload a statement from a private account and not from a business account.
