We’re expanding the Data & Analytics Team within our Collections department, and we’re looking for a Data Engineer who’s ready to take the next step in building a reliable, secure and future-proof data landscape.
What will you do?
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse tables
- Migrate SAS scripts to SQL and Python — including developing custom functions and packages
- Optimize pipelines to enhance performance, stability and data quality — monitor performance, create alerts, and implement validation checks
- Simplify and restructure data flows to improve readability and maintainability
- Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, collections teams and external parties to understand data needs and deliver real value.
- Based on the data you deliver, dashboards and performance reports are created, supporting operational teams and enabling data-driven decisions.
- You also collaborate with our external parties, like call centers, in data-related optimization projects.
You have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years building and maintaining data pipelines and validating data quality
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to understand the business context and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- You are fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in SQL, DBT, SAS and Python and solid software engineering practices like version-control, CI/CD, code review

In the Netherlands, we serve our customers from our office in Utrecht, and since 1992 also in Belgium from our office in Merelbeke (near Ghent).
