Your role and the team
As an IT Tester, you play a crucial role in the quality and reliability of our IT systems. You are responsible for testing new and existing software solutions and ensuring that they meet the set requirements. Together with a team of developers, product owners and other testers, you work on innovative projects and contribute to a smoothly running IT environment.
You will work in a dynamic, demanding and interesting environment. Our IT department is responsible for building and managing all the systems we work with at Santander.
You are

Your duties and responsibilities in short
- Perform functional and regression testing on new and existing applications.
- Drafting test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, analyze and report bugs and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality.
- Automate testing where possible and advise on testing strategies.
- Creating logs to document test phases and defects.
- Report bugs and defects to development teams.
- Perform post-release/post-implementation testing
You have
- A completed MBO or college education in IT or a similar field.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing
- Good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Practical knowledge of HTML, JSON, XML and Java
- Knowledge of testing strategies and automation

Santander Consumer Finance. We have been active in the consumer finance market in the Netherlands since 1985 (car financing, personal loans and stock financing). In the Netherlands, we serve our customers from our office in Utrecht, and since 1992 also in Belgium from our office in Merelbeke (near Ghent).
